As these loans are repaid, the funds will revolve, creating a sustainable source of capital that supports long-term economic growth in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis grant empowers Brightpoint Development Fund to bridge a critical gap in our region\u2019s business ecosystem,\u201d says Steve Hoffman, Brightpoint President\/CEO. \u201cBy leveraging the $550,000 loan loss, we\u2019re unlocking flexible small business financing, giving entrepreneurs a real chance to grow their businesses, create jobs, and strengthen our community\u2019s economic vitality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon Wood\u2019s entrepreneurial spirit ignited his passion to start and grow his business, 80\/20, to become one of Whitley County\u2019s largest manufacturers,\u201d says Laura Macknick, president &amp; CEO, Don Wood Foundation. \u201cAs a result, we advocate for innovation by encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset, which ensures that Brightpoint Development Fund can continue to grow and support the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2011, Brightpoint Development Fund, a subsidiary of Brightpoint, is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable business loans, financial education, and housing development services.
